DESIGN, MANUFACTURE AND MARKETING
Supplying equipment in Building and Public Works is the main activity of SATECO, which is constantly revolutionizing the building industry by new and innovative designs, realized in France, in its production plant of 20 000 sqm, located in Mirebeau (Poitou Charentes 86)
Always true to its values, the company has taken advantage of experience to maintain a craft know-how and developed it at international scale, a reasoned growth who allows today to be competitive and to offer to its customers quality, while minimizing costs and production time.
Major actor on the construction market in France for 60 years, SATECO company designs, manufactures and sells horizontal and vertical formwork as well as safety tools for the Building and Public Works. SATECO also offers a service activity dedicated to rental and sale of reconditioned equipment as well as the maintenance of the yards of its brand.
The exhibition Intermat 2015, from April 20th to 25th in Paris Nord Villepinte, will allow SATECO to release news focused on three themes:
- Products innovations: with the inclinometer, a safety equipment to check the verticality adjustment of the panel to formwork concrete walls and the Take Off, a telescopic supporting prop, allowing a 3 tons load
- The customer relationship based on proximity with a new commercial organization
- Export strategy: with the creation of a G.I.E (Economic trust) Sateco/Alphi to invest abroad.
Product innovation towards workers safety on worksites
9% of the employees of the general scheme work for the Building and Public Work Industry. In this field, there are about 18% of lost time accident and nearly 30% of deaths*. Even if, in the last 30 years, the prevention of occupational risk has divided by 3 the number of fatal accidents, still workers of the Building and Public Work Industry are more exposed to higher risks of work accidents than the others. The variety, the complexity of the interventions and technics on one and same worksite, the number of persons involved, the delivery issues etc., all these are the reasons why SATECO R&D Dpt keeps studying to improve and create equipment always safer for the users on the worksites.

New position of the Sales Team
The Sales Department has been reorganized in 2014 and now Jean Paul HARTMANN (Sales Manager) manages the following team: 9 sales persons (1 joined in 2014), 3 employees in the headquarters, all of them missioned for a service closer to customers.
Indeed, SATECO ensure a presence and a quality of service throughout the French territory. The salesperson remains with the customer from the first advice to the assembling and the material disassembling, from the material choice to the worksite follow-up.
Searching for the whole satisfaction and the optimal quality of service
In a customer satisfaction approach and quality of service, SATECO has implemented in January 2014, a Hotline Dpt in order to answer all and any technical and commercial questions in a very short time, maximum 48 hours for the most technical ones. This hotline is open every day from 8.30am to 5.30pm and can be contacted by phone on a fixed non premium number or by e-mail.
An experienced and trained technician from the SATECO Design Office answered to more than 1 000 calls in 2014 that were dealt in the day (80% were about safety and platforms). The customers using this service, 50% of Small to Medium size companies and 50% of major groups, appreciated “the reactivity and the technical support of SATECO”.

Creation of an economic trust
SATECO and ALPHI, the 2 companies members of the association “Pôle France Coffrage”, founded in November 2014, announced the creation of an Economic Trust to launch a market abroad. The commer- cial strategy which should be finalized by Intermat 2015, will propose a different and gathered offer, on one hand, of a range of products (vertical and horizontal shutters, all types of formworking tools, prefabrication, safety on worksites) and on the other hand, peripheral services and technical and com- mercial support to the work method to organize the different steps on a worksite.
